Women's Mental Health
You've been holding it all together. You don't have to do it alone.
Women carry a lot, and most of it quietly: the mental load, the caregiving, the shifts in your body and your identity that nobody prepared you for. I work with women at many stages of life, including new moms, moms of kids of all ages, women in perimenopause, and women who are neurodivergent, who are tired of being told it's "just stress."
Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and practical. We make sense of what's happening in your mind and body, sort out what's yours from what's the weight of impossible expectations, and build support that fits your real life. You don't need to have the words yet. This page is a starting point, and the two focus areas below go deeper.
A good fit if
- You're a mom of kids at any age and you've lost track of where you fit in your own life
- Your mood, sleep, or anxiety have shifted and you're not sure why
- You suspect you're neurodivergent, or were diagnosed late, and have spent years masking
- You're in a big transition: your career, your partnership, caregiving, or your identity
- You're worn out from holding everything together
What to expect
- A warm, affirming space where you don't need the perfect words
- Care that looks at the whole you: mind, body, and life stage
- Practical tools, plus deeper work on the patterns underneath
- Encouragement to loop in your doctor or other providers when it helps
- In person in Fairfax or virtually anywhere in Virginia
